Not able to enter password while installing tree

When I enter the command sudo apt-get install tree it prompts for a password but when I try to enter the password terminal gets stuck.Nothing is being typed when [sudo] password for crio-user: appears

Guys,just type the password even if you don’t see any change happening and press enter.Apparently the typed changes don’t get reflected on screen but are getting typed.So just type your password and press enter.

Just copy and paste the password even if you don’t see it inside the terminal and then press Enter.

It is an inherent security of Linux based operating systems to not display the password being typed. It’s nothing to worry about. Just copy paste the password wherever needed.
