Maven executable not found in PATH

I am getting following error while opening my Workspace:
Maven executable not found in PATH. Please specify “maven.executable.path”.

Due to this the editor is unable to resolve the packages like fasterxml.
Do I need to install maven in my Workspace.

You don’t need to install anything. Just reset you workspace and wait for java things to load in the bottom of your vs code.
If the problem will not resolve use ./gradlew clean
