Is it compulsory to use POJO to parse Json data?

Is it necessary to use portfolioTrade.java to parse the necessary details?
We can use other easier methods to parse data.

@ankyy
I think we’ll get away with other methods in Module 1. But, going forward, we’ll have to make use of the PortfolioTrade class

Better you use that. It’s tough to maintain otherwise in further modules. You will need everything further, what you are doing in module1.

It’s not mandatory, You may use your custom-defined classes
but it will be time-consuming:sleepy: :sleeping:
(Unless You are new to java and want to learn oops concept
and how to write oops code in java, It will enhance your practice :100: :muscle:)

You can use your custom built class, but for ease we have created the PortfolioTrade, this may also help you in future modules. Good Luck :slight_smile:
