In module 4 milestone 2 500 OOPS: child died

I am getting 500 OOPS: child died error in module 4 milestone 2 when connecting to server v3.
error

Try to run the FTP server on 127.0.0.1
Make sure you are in the right directory using pwd and !pwd

first, check for the correct directory
it seems that you are using get command with two files which may be causing the error
see this link https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/how-to-use-ftp-on-the-linux-shell/
and for the proper way of doing ftp see this

gives the same error even with 127.0.0.1

ftp> pwd
257 “/home/crio-user” is the current directory

i am in the right directory

The current directory is wrong.
Hint - Use cd and lcd to set the directory

ftp> pwd
257 “/home/crio-user” is the current directory
ftp> cd /home/crio-user/ftp_client
250 Directory successfully changed.
ftp> get /home/crio-user/ftp_server/file.txt file3.txt
local: file3.txt remote: /home/crio-user/ftp_server/file.txt
200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for /home/crio-user/ftp_server/file.txt (1073741824 bytes).
500 OOPS: child died

still same error

Can you try giving full path address for the new file too?

ftp> get filename

Which command are you using to create the 1GB file?

There is no problem with 1GB file.
I transferred it using version 1 and 2.

Keep in mind that some versions are faulty. Check if this behavior is reflected by other versions or not.
