I am able to use put but not get ; 550 Failed to open file

i enabled write in .conf file
then I am able to use put without error.

But still get shows this error

550 Failed to open file

please help!

In ftp, go to ftp_server directory using cd. Then execute whatever you’re executing

yeah bro I did
it works

but my log file is empty (vsftpd.log)
is that correct?

also ftp client has both files (upload & download)
but server has only download.txt

is this right?

whenever you run the code just check where are you.
To run put and get you have to go in ftp_client/server dir
use- cd, ls and cd …

@shakthi_m11 i am also stucked there dont know why everything runs fine and both put and get command works but ftp client has both files (upload & download)
but server has only download.txt , cant understand why , did your assesment went fine or you got error?

go to ftp_client and do both put and get command.
do same thing in ftp_server.
you will get both files in both directories.
