Cd ~/workspace/username-ME_QBOX/client_server is showing no such file or directory

  1. Describe the issue briefly
bash: cd: /home/crio-user/workspace/username-ME_QBOX/client_server: No such file or directory

  2. How much time have you spent debugging this issue?
(Please spend at least 15 minutes to resolve the issue on your own before posting a new topic here)
    1 hr

  3. What is your hypothesis?
am unable to change the directory it shows directory does not exist

  1. Use the ls command in the terminal to check if that file/folder exits.
  2. If the desired folder - in this case “client-server” doesn’t exit, make sure you have pulled the latest assessment.

terminal tips:

  1. try using relative paths instead of absolute to change directories if you are a beginner and tend to make typos.
  2. Press Tab after you have written 3 charaters of the file or folder to auto complete. But, if you have files with the same prefix, it will auto complete only the common phrase.

no it’s being a problem with merge conflicts anyways thanks

Try doing ls command and then see the directory name that you wish to enter. You can copy path from the explorer from the option in the left. Right click on the dirctory/file on the explorer and select copy path option in it. Then paste that path wherever you require that path
